Like many other retailers, the company is experimenting
with new formats. In May 2012 it opened its first small-format
store, known as Price Chopper Limited. The 19,000-square-foot store
(about a third of the size of a typical Price Chopper
supermarket) is located in a residential neighborhood
in downtown Saratoga Springs, New York. The "Limited" store

In fall 2011 Price Chopper launched a new online ordering and
home delivery program called Price Chopper Shops4U. The
service charges a service fee of $10, with an additional $6 fee for
delivery. Customers can either pick up their orders at the store or
have them delivered.
