Starbucks recently revised its pay scale for all hourly field partners. Rates are based on standard of living and will be reviewed annually for potential adjustments. All hourly employees' pay has been increased to the new minimum or by a small amount if partners were at or above the new minimum.
There are no more bi-annual performance reviews with a pay increase opportunity. Instead, hourly partners will meet with their store managers twice a year to create development plans to focus on their goals and to refocus on company priorities.
Starbucks is a company with a soul. Employees are valued, demonstrated by an array of benefits that are designed as an investment to retain talent. That being said, the store manager position is complex and demanding but rewarding if you put in the effort.
