They sell pasta shells by the Jersey sea shore. Norkus Enterprises operates grocery stores under the Foodtown and Super Foodtown banners in Monmouth County and Ocean County, New Jersey. The regional grocery chain also offers online shopping and home delivery. It was founded when Francis Norkus opened his first grocery store, called Table Talk, in Freehold, New Jersey, in 1935. Norkus Enterprises is a member of the Foodtown Supermarket cooperative. The company also owns four Max's Beer, Wine & Liquor stores located in New Jersey. In 2011, Norkus sold five of its six Foodtown stores -- located in Freehold Township, Manalapan, Neptune City, Point Pleasant Beach, and Long Branch -- to The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company.
After the sale of its Foodtown stores, Norkus Enterprises is left with one Foodtown store in Freehold and four Max's Beer, Wine & Liquor stores.
