The Dispatch Printing Company is a leading regional media company anchored by its flagship newspaper The Columbus Dispatch. It also owns a portfolio of almost 20 community papers through subsidiary ThisWeek Community Newspapers, and it publishes Columbus Parent, a free monthly magazine on parenting. Its Dispatch Media Group owns and operates two TV stations, the WBNS radio station, the Ohio News Network radio service, and a 24-hour cable news channel. Dispatch Printing also has a stake in the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey team. The Columbus Dispatch traces its roots to 1871, when it was first published as The Daily Dispatch.
