Mergers and Acquisitions
In late 2012 Westat expanded through the acquisition of Atlanta-based GeoStats, a research and technology firm. Because of the advanced technology Geostats uses, the deal enhanced Westat's expertise in collecting and analyzing geospatial mobility and physical activity data.
