Intellectually-engaging and supportive environment

5.0 of 5 stars

Entry-level in Energy & Utilities | Cambridge, MA | 2015 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

the people, the intellectuall-stimulating work, and the work-life balance

Downers

At times, there are multiple simultaneous deadlines, but this is not unique to my firm; it is true of almost all consulting firms.

Comments

Employees are valued as individuals. They have the ability to choose the work that is most interesting to them and the work/life balance that is most desirable to them. The work is challenging and intellectually-stimulating, while the culture is simultaneously extremely supportive.

Uppers

The culture, the variety of interesting work

Comments

Brattle is a great place to come after college to do technical and interesting work in a very friendly environment that helps to illuminate particular industries or types of work that interest you while keeping many options open for what you want to do in the long run.

New York, NY | 2015 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

The culture of collaboration and collegiality.

Downers

The firm is going through some growing pains so there are some missteps or delays in making decisions at times, but these are very minor in the overall scheme of things.

Super place to work, would not consider any others in the field.

Partner in Energy & Utilities | Cambridge, MA | 2015 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

the people are both very professional and very social and friendly

Downers

there are occasional "crunches" that can be tiring and stressful

Comments

Brattle is a more relaxed firm than most in our industry, but it also expects long run employees to have an entrepreneurial streak that requires getting well beyond providing rigorous technical analysis; for some, this is a difficult shift but it offers lots of new rewards
