Opportunity to build a great US business

In the US: for the self-confident and entrepreneurial who want to build something together

A great opportunity to focus on innovative problem solving.

Entry-level in Strategy | New York, NY | 2017 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

The work (pure strategy only), the people, and the culture. And the pay isn't too bad either

Downers

Support (particularly IT) could be better in the NY office. And we're still fairly small in the US, but growing quickly

Comments

OC&C is a great firm to work for, and this is a particularly exciting time to be a part of it. We're a very strong player in the UK & Europe, and growing quickly in the US.

Really try and get a feel for the culture during the recruiting process, as that's definitely one of our strongest attributes.

Hard work, but worth it!

Great projects, strategy projects only. Great people. Really high pay.

Downers

Not much. Of course, the hours could possibly be better.

Comments

Great company to work for. Very strong in London, but increasingly strong around the globe as well.

Client-focused, content challenging culture.

Client driven, pushes limits of analytical content to offer recommendations

Downers

Hours, travel

Comments

If you wish to improve your chances of having a career where progress is merit based, and merit is based on intellectual innovation, OC&C is a very strong alternative.

Pure strategy firm with a start-up feel

Low-travel; 50 person office, dark jeans dresscode and open layout makes it feel very start-uppy; intellectually stimulating strategy work, Boston office has a deep strength in Information Services, which is a hot sector.

Downers

Low name recognition, fairly standalone from the European offices. Small size means no research dept and a lack of formalized training, so lots of bootstrapping to figure things out on your own. Lack of travel has the downside of less face-to-face client exposure.

Comments

make sure you like the office. Low-travel + long hours means you'll be here a lot.
