The learning and the training are both very intensive, and you have the possibilities ti learn about several different industries

Downers

It's very demanding, which means you'll have to skip often a dinner with friends in order to stay working late

Comments

It's a good place to learn very quickly, but it will only work long term for those who really fit mckinsey culture

Comments

McKinsey really does care about the individual consultants. There is a great deal of informal mentorship and training. Everyone has done whatever they can to help me succeed.

McK obviously wins on prestige (it's called MBB and not BBM). I would like to highlight that, despite what competitors may tell their candidates, I have felt like I had very strong coaching at McKinsey and that people actively take an interest in my development. I've found it very inspiring to see how much care is taken during my evaluations.
