August 2016 | CURRENT EMPLOYEE

Uppers

-High quality coworkers.
-Great culture which is a key focus for management.
-GT has a bunch of opportunities to get experience in a number of different industries, which was exactly what I wanted right out of school.
-GT offers flexibility, which leads to a pretty good work-life balance.
-Great access to partners.

Downers

-The GT brand is not as well known as I would hope.
-Despite being in different industries, the work is not as challenging as I would want.

Comments

The firm is also beginning to build out a number of fields that should help GT's ranking go up in the years to come.

Flexible Work Hours
Interesting Middle-Market Client
Responsibility at all levels
Receptive to input and suggestions

Downers

Name Recognition still needs work
Less benefits than competitors
Not a national practice, each office has their own client base

Comments

If interviewing, emphasize how you want to be a part of a firm that is growing with you. You have a lot of opportunity to make a real difference to the consulting practice because it is growing and receptive to employees helping define its direction.
