About Campbell Alliance

Campbell Alliance Group, founded in 1997 by John Campbell, is home to management consultants who are experts in the biopharmaceutical and medical technology industries. Due to this intense focus, the firm primarily hires consultants who have years of experience working directly in biopharma or medical technology, or as consultants to the industry. 

That is not to say that there is no diversity in the experience and expertise of the consultants at Campbell Alliance. The firm recently consolidated it six main practice areas into three focused Centers of Excellence (COE).  The Commercial COE helps maximize the commercial potential and value of individual product assets and resources throughout the full product life cycle.  The Corporate Development COE helps clients build corporate and portfolio growth strategies, as well as evaluate and integrate transactions to enhance shareholder value.  Lastly, the Medical COE helps clinical and medical affairs leaders more strategically deploy their resources and make their organizations more efficient.  It also provides strategic medical affairs guidance at the product level. 

While consultants primarily specialize in services related to one COE, teams often times work together to solve a client's more complex problems.


Under new ownership

The firm was acquired by inVentiv Health, Inc in February 2011. A "leading global provider of best-in-class clinical, commercial and consulting services to companies seeking to accelerate performance," inVentiv's expanded implementation capabilities and global reach mean that Campbell Alliance is a firm with endless growth opportunities.
