Fast paced environment, steep learning curve from the beginning. Projects and management differs highly, depends on region and office.


Downers

Sometimes working weekends. Financial benefits should not be the main motivators, internally very disorganised.

Check the office's industry focus, otherwise standard case/fit with some brainteasers.

Unpredictable hours, short staffing in some offices while others are not billable. Industry focus to each office makes cross-staffing difficlt (eg. if we have a pharma client, we likely cannot staff someone in the energy practice on our project)


Comments

Given a small local office, work/life balance can be difficult and unpredictable when resources are scarce. Events related to the economic downturn have made the overall work experience significantly less pleasant (lay-offs, salary cuts, etc.)
