Fascinating work; interested, motivated colleagues.

5.0 of 5 stars

May 2015 | CURRENT EMPLOYEE

Uppers

The work includes working on fascinating analytical problems. Colleagues are interested in helping solve those problems, and are highly motivated to do quality work.

Downers

Although usually accommodated by team members pitching in, sudden conflicts with personal plans can arise because deadlines can shift.

Comments

Emphasize your analysis experience and communication skills, and be yourself.

Smart people, sometimes menial work

April 2015 | CURRENT EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Brilliant co-workers and great offices; support for grad school and professional development

Downers

Limited exit opportunities as economic consulting is a niche industry. Not uncommon for work to be menial and/or repetitive at times.

Comments

Understand that Analysis Group does economic consulting and not strategy consulting. If you are interested in law school, this is a great opportunity to gain some experience in the industry and determine whether or not you might be interested in the career path.

Great people. High quality work product. Amazing focus on helping employees develop.

Downers

Occasionally no control of hours

Comments

My style is more to ask potential candidates questions and see what they are trying to get out of a position, then communicate with them regarding how that could be possible here. There is just too much to communicate to try to sum things up otherwise.
