Founded in 1945 by a trio of labor lawyers in Chicago, Seyfarth Shaw has grown to more than 800 lawyers across 14 offices in the U.S., London, Melbourne, Sydney and Shanghai. Lean Law Firm

Seyfarth is client focused and recognizes that one of the biggest challenges facing the legal services market today is the need to develop a common definition of "value" between law firms and their clients. Customized Career Paths

Innovation LLP

Named one of the top law firm brands for the fourth consecutive year, Seyfarth Shaw LLP was the only firm to earn "Best of the Best" marks from in-house counsel in each of the four innovation categories in BTI Consulting Group's annual study, "Brand Elite: Client Perceptions of the Best-Branded Law Firms." Among the 650 firms named in the report, Seyfarth ranks No. 12 in brand strength and was the only firm to score top marks in the "Tech-Savvy," "Value Driver," "Client Service Strategist" and "Movers & Shakers" innovation categories. The firm was also one of only nine firms named by in-house counsel as the best in the "Recommended - Client's Choice" category.

Working Parents Welcome

Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced that for the fourth consecutive year, the firm was named among Working Mother & Flex-Time Lawyers annual list of "Best Law Firms for Women." Scoring was based on the previous year's benchmark results, as well as responses to more than 300 questions regarding workforce representation; time off and leaves; child care; flexibility; leadership, compensation and advancement of women; and development and retention of women. Winning firms were also able to demonstrate support for flexible work arrangements and offer general paid paternal leave.
