Uppers

The people are nice, helpful, and congenial. There is a sense of camraderie. There are very few "yellers" at the firm -- in fact, such behavior would be highly frowned upon.

Downers

Things that are a part of working at any large law firm. The hours are demanding (although there are worse, particularly on the coast), the work can be monotanous, you are rarely defending a client or cause that you are passionate about.

Comments

Rodey primarily hires through its summer associate process, which is conducted in the fall. It interviews at the University of New Mexico and entertains applications from students at other schools. Rodey also hires lateral attorneys to meet specific needs in the office, and is receptive to applications at any time from excellent candidates.
