Tracing its roots to 1913 when Fredrick J. Ward
opened a sole practice in Detroit, Plunkett Cooney has expanded to
over 150 attorneys in 11 offices.
Located throughout Michigan, plus offices in Ohio and
Indiana, the firm tackles issues related to admiralty and marine,
bankruptcy, government affairs, insurance, litigation, professional
liability and real estate, among others.
In order to expand its geographical reach, Plunkett
Cooney helped establish ALFA International (The
American Law Firm Association), a global network of some
125 independent law firms which has the ability to assist
clients residing in Africa, Europe, Latin America, North America
and the Pacific Rim.
