Getting Hired Here

info

  • “The firm obviously wants people with great grades and at least a decent law school—these are standard. But above that, I think the most important thing is collegiality. If the firm feels like you will be a bad apple within the firm, they will not allow you to spoil the bushel.”
  • “The firm does not limit itself to top law schools, and considers a variety of candidates. The firm is interested in grades, success in law school, and work experience, but is also very focused on cultural and personality fit at the firm.”
  • “They want people who can do the work efficiently. Hiring straight out of law school tends towards prestige, but laterals tend towards those with the knowledge and law firm backgrounds who can get the work done.”
  • “Our firm considers candidates holistically for legal skills, grades, prior work experience, personality, diversity, and overall fit with the firm's culture and values.”
