About Locke Lord LLP

Locke Lord is a full-service, international law firm of 20 offices designed to meet clients' needs around the world. The firm is the product of four mergers-the most recent combination with Edwards Wildman officially took place on January 10, 2015. Led by Chair Jerry Clements, Locke Lord has a combined history of more than 125 years and a domestic and global footprint.

Industry Focus

Locke Lord advises clients across a broad spectrum of industries including energy, insurance and reinsurance, private equity, telecommunications, technology, real estate, financial services and health care and life sciences, while providing a wealth of experience through its complex litigation, regulatory, intellectual property and fund formation teams. The firm's clients range from Fortune 500 and middle market public and private companies to start-ups and emerging businesses. Locke Lord has received numerous industry recognitions as a global leader in the middle market sector.

Wherever You Are, Locke Lord is There

In the United States, Locke Lord has a well-recognized presence in Texas, the Northeast, the Midwest, the Southeast and the West Coast in addition to offices in Asia and London. The firm provides national and international clients service across a full range of practices and industries from offices in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Hartford, Hong Kong, Houston, London, Los Angeles, Miami, Morristown, New Orleans, New York, Providence, Stamford, San Francisco, Washington, DC, and West Palm Beach.

Diversity is a Key to Success

Locke Lord embraces multiple points of view and supports Local Diversity Committees as well as an overall firm National Diversity Committee. For instance, Paulette Brown, a partner in Locke Lord's Morristown office, is the past president of the American Bar Association. Brown was the first woman of color and third African-American to serve as president of the ABA.

Additionally, women hold positions of power in firm management. There are three women on the firm's executive committee, including firm Chair Jerry Clements. The firm's board of directors has six female members, one of whom serves as co-chair of the board.

Locke Lord's groups and committees help promote a firmwide philosophy of inclusion and action, helping raise scholarship money for minority and economically disadvantaged students, hosting holiday parties for lower income children, donating to local food banks and charitable organizations that aid individuals and families in need and supporting longtime firm programs like flexible work arrangements, domestic partner benefits and the Women's Initiative.

Corporate responsibility is an important part of Locke Lord's mission as well as meaningful partnerships in local communities and pro bono work.
