Pro Bono

The Law Firm Pro Bono Profile contains the firm’s self-reported responses to Vault’s annual Pro Bono Survey, which was developed through a partnership between Vault and pro bono coordinators at firms from across the country. Each profile contains an overview of the firm’s pro bono program, including its organizational structure, policies, awards and recognition, and pro bono practice areas. The profiles also provide useful data on the hours devoted to pro bono by attorneys and summer associates, as well as detailed descriptions of each firm’s significant pro bono representations.

Law Firm Diversity Database


Each law firm’s Diversity Survey responses are also published in the Law Firm Diversity Database. The database currently includes eight years of survey data and information on more than 250 law firms. Through this online tool, you can make side-by-side comparisons of diversity metrics, gauge firms’ progress over time, and measure their performance against industry-wide benchmarks. Open to participation by any law firm with offices in the United States, the Vault/MCCA Law Firm Diversity Survey has become the industry standard for tracking law firm efforts to increase diversity within the profession.
