Davidson Meaux's beginnings go back to 1927, when James J.
Davidson, Jr. a Tulane grad with a bright future as president of
the Louisiana Bar Association and Louisiana Law Institute and one
of the most prominent lawyers in the state began practice.
Twenty-two years later, he joined forces with Richard Meaux to form
one of the oldest and best law firms in Louisiana. Davidson Meaux
is stationed in Lafayette and represents clients such as railroad
carriers, banks, insurance companies and real estate developers
