Tracing its roots to 1955, Aflac began when John, Paul and Bill Amos founded American Family Life Insurance Company of Columbus (now known simply as "Aflac") with a view to providing a genuine, caring and personal service that, according to the company, remains the cornerstone of its organization to this day.
