About International Trade Administration

It provides market selection information, enforces international trade agreements, and protects US markets from dumped and subsidized imports. The administration's four divisions assist business owners through more than 240 offices worldwide (Commercial Service), negotiate agreements and conduct research (Manufacturing and Services), help firms identify and profit from US trade agreements (Market Access and Compliance), and enforce trade laws (Import Administration). ITA is part of the Department of Commerce.
