One company knows it's swank to watch a movie in a train. Swank Motion Pictures is a film and video rental and licensing business that distributes movies to non-theatrical venues including universities, libraries, churches, correctional institutions, trains, and cruise ships. The company has rights to titles from the libraries of Hollywood's major studios, such as Disney, Universal, Warner Bros., and Paramount. It also distributes movies from independent film companies such as The Weinstein Co., ThinkFilm, Magnolia Pictures, and Newmarket Films. Swank Motion Pictures was founded in 1937, and is privately owned by the Swank family.
