Yardi Systems goes the whole nine yards in developing property and asset management software for clients in the real estate industry. It offers products for multifamily housing and office and industrial properties, as well as more niche markets such as senior housing, military housing, and co-ops. Yardi's software includes tools for managing budgets, construction, scheduling, and maintenance, as well as lease renewal, compliance, customer relationship management, resident screening, and forecasting. Yardi Voyager is its primary platform; other products include Genesis, Beacon, and Orion for SharePoint. Subsidiary SiteStuff provides procurement software to the commercial real estate market. Yardi serves clients from about 30 offices worldwide.
Yardi Systems has offices in the US and Canada, as well as in Australia, China, Germany, India, The Netherlands, Romania, Singapore, the UK, and the United Arab Emirates.
Yardi released Yardi EHR, a browser-based electronic health records service that is one of its products for the senior living industry, in 2014. The product operates within Yardi's Voyager Senior Housing, an enterprise resource planning platform for senior living providers.
Also in 2014, Yardi introduced new capabilities for text payments, Instagram integration, and advanced corporate apartment searches for its RENTCafe product.
Mergers and Acquisitions
Yardi uses acquisitions to expand its product lines to suit the changing needs of its clients.
In 2014 it acquired Centershift, which develops technology for the self-storage industry. It developed the Centershift Store platform, a cloud-based management system for self-storage operators.
Also in 2014 Yardi bought Enerliance, a developer of energy efficiency software. Enerliance's Load Based Optimization System reduces energy consumption in large buildings and campuses.
In mid-2013 it bought Pierce-Eislen, an Arizona-based company that offers property- and market-level research and reporting for apartment communities in more than 55 US markets.
