Sales and Marketing
As a whole, Sage Software's primary products include its Peachtree suite of small business accounting software, ACT! sales contact management applications, its SalesLogix customer relationship management tools, and Accpac ERP.
Through new versions of products Sage Software is seasoning its portfolio with cloud-based software. The company also expanded its Sage ERP X3 product for mid-market businesses into the cloud. The online version offers increased usability and mobility.
Sage also teams up with other companies to co-market and cross market their products. In a 2014 alliance, Sage Software and Moneris Solutions Corp., a Canadian credit and debit card processor, will offer streamlined payment processes to Canadian businesses.
Mergers and Acquisitions
Sage Software acquired PayChoice, a privately held provider of payroll services for small and medium-sized businesses, in 2014. The acquisition extends Sage's offerings to provide customers with online payroll and integrated services.
