The hostile work environment and routine harassment that passes for normal at most other investment banks is nowhere to be found at William Blair. Not only does Blair have a pleasant work environment, we are winning, with a growing, global platform that continues to land bigger, high profile deals. If you feel that your investment banking experience would not be complete without subjecting yourself to daily belittlement at organizations that subscribe to a performance philosophy predicated on humiliation and out sized punishment for any mistake, have fun in New York. If you're a mature, intelligent, well-adjusted adult, you are likely to find William Blair a far more satisfying place to spend several years or decades of your life.

THE best place to build a long-term investment banking career

Downers

It is still an investment bank, so the lifestyle is rigorous and not for the faint-hearted.
