Interview Review

Ideal candidate would be well-rounded, analytical, personable, hard working, smart, but humble. People skills are particularly important as analysts and associates consistently interface with clients.

Interview process is very competitive and become increasingly more so, as Blair is the most prestigious bank headquartered in Chicago.

Partner/Principal in Corporate Finance | Chicago, IL | 2017 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

rigorous screening, so expect multiple rounds of interviews with peers and senior bankers. focus is primarily on fit, and true commitment to growing the practice. Tenure of Blair bankers is extremely long vs industry averages, so that underscores that each hire is being made with a long term perspective in mind.

Formal process established that has been received well by candidates. Fair process with plenty of time to make a decision without stepping on toes of other banks.
