3.8 of 5 stars

Mid-level in Mergers & Acquisitions | San Francisco, CA | 2017 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

collegial environment, flatter structure, transformative management team, team atmosphere without typical IB egos, recent focus on M&A

Downers

people outside of finance might not know of the firm, hours, average compensation, management focus on equities (our strongest platform historically)

Advice to Candidates

Cowen is a historically strong equity platform that is slowly and successfully pivoting more towards M&A. Strong belief in Sr. Mgmt and the decisions they are making (acquisitions, investments, focus) and in the direction they are steering the Cowen ship.
