Trout-Blue Chelan-Magi has a simpler and more apt name by which
it does business -- Chelan Fruit. The company is fruit growers'
cooperative with some 420 member/growers located in Washington
State. The co-op prepares, packs, and sells its members' apples,
pears, cherries and other stone fruits, including peaches,
apricots, nectarines, and plums. The fruit is shipped both
domestically and internationally. Product marketing is conducted
through Chelan Fresh Marketing. The co-op was formed through the
1995 merger of two cooperatives, Trout and Blue Chelan; the
combined company changed its name again in 2004 with the
acquisition of Magi.
