Genwove U.S. manufactures hardwood veneer and lumber products. A subsidiary of Quebec-based General Woods & Veneers (GWV), Genwove produces and markets its veneer and lumber products by utilizing GWV's extensive source holdings. The company primarily processes oak, ash, cherry, walnut and other hardwood species. Hardwood veneer accounts for the majority of the company's production. Its products can be found in office furniture, panels, doors, and more. Genwove was formed as a result of GWV's purchase of Atlantic Lumber in North Carolina in the late 1970s.
