Airline seats aren't exactly known to be cushy on your tushy, but at least Weber Aircraft keeps safety in mind. The company manufactures commercial aircraft passenger seats for some of the world's most recognized airlines and aircraft OEMs in the industry (think Boeing). Weber puts its seats through rigorous strength, durability, and functionality testing to meet federal safety standards. It also does repairs, overhauls, and upgrades on aircraft interiors. Since 1992 the company has been a subsidiary of France-based Zodiac Aerospace (formerly Groupe Zodiac).
Weber Aircraft maintains manufacturing and service facilities in Texas and Georgia.
Sales and Marketing
The company has made nearly every type of aircraft seat, from ejection seats used in military aircraft to ergonomically-designed seats for business-class passengers on commercial flights.
Weber Aircraft was founded in 1898 as an office and store fixture manufacturer. The Gemini and Apollo space missions in the 1960s and 1970s used Weber Aircraft crew couches and escape systems.
