Without companies like C&D Zodiac, air passengers would tumble around in cavernous flying tubes. The company makes airplane storage bins, seats, overhead panels, lavatories, galleys, passenger and crew oxygen systems, ceiling panels, baggage compartment lining, sidewalls. C&D also makes upgrade and retrofit security kits for cockpit doors and escape slides. C&D Zodiac operates through 15 facilities spanning six countries and traces its roots back to 1972. The company is part of the cabin interiors business of France-based Zodiac.
C&D Zodiac operates from eight locations in California and three in Washington. International locations reside in Brazil, Canada, and France.
In 2012 the company announced its seating division in Santa Maria, California, was expanding to a 82,000 sq. ft. building. The expansion increased the company’s footprint by about one-third.
