One of the largest retail ad firms in the southeastern US, Zimmerman offers creative development and branding services to a variety of clients, with particular expertise in the automotive retail sector. Its creative philosophy centers on the idea of "brandtailing," the merging of branding strategy and retailing to promote products and services while building brand identity. Founded in 1984 by former "Mr. Florida" Jordan Zimmerman, the agency operates through more than 20 offices in 10 states. Zimmerman is a unit of advertising conglomerate Omnicom Group.

Zimmerman claims to be a "results-driven agency" and is working to diversify its pool of clients. In 2013 it announced it was working to sign additional airlines, full-service restaurants, rental car companies, and consumer packaged goods makers (specifically beverage makers, a big revenue draw for ad agencies). The company is also working to improve existing metrics to help clients understand the value they get from its work. Both these strategies -- client diversification and return on investment tracking -- are relatively new trends and opportunities recognized by all agencies since the Great Recession.
