Digital services come naturally to Organic. The Web development and marketing services company helps clients build and refine their presence online. In addition to website design and implementation, Organic creates online marketing campaigns and provides other media services. Claiming to have developed the first online banner ad in 1994, the company's clients have included Bank of America, Geek Squad, Nike Canada, Procter & Gamble, and Coach. The agency operates through offices in Detroit, London, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco and is a subsidiary of advertising and media services conglomerate Omnicom Group. It resides within Omnicom's Diversified Agency Services (DAS) division.
Omnicom's DAS division includes companies specializing in customer relationship management, public relations, and specialty communications expertise. DAS casts a wide global net: it includes more than 190 companies and serves clients through more than 700 offices spanning some 70 countries.
In mid-2010 Organic hired Marita Scarfi as its new CEO. Scarfi, one of only a handful of women to head a major agency, previously served as the company's EVP and COO.
