A partnership with this Arnold will get your brand promoted, not terminated. Arnold Worldwide is a full-service advertising agency that offers creative ad development, campaign planning, and brand management services. Responsible for creating those ubiquitous "Progressive Flo" ads for Progressive Insurance, its vast advertising agency network spans 15 offices in Amsterdam, Canada, China, Italy, the Czech Republic, London, Lisbon, Spain, the UK, and the US. The agency's primary three East Coast offices in the US have served such brands as Titleist, McDonald's, Levi's, and Volvo. Arnold Worldwide is a unit of Paris-based advertising conglomerate Havas.
Like most advertising agencies, Arnold Worldwide was hit hard by the recession as clients drastically cut back on the amount of money they spent on advertising. During the toxic climate, Arnold Worldwide suffered the loss of several key clients (RadioShack, Citizens Financial Group, and Choice Hotels International) and was forced to make job cuts (it trimmed 8% of its staff in 2008).
Hoping to turn the agency's fortunes around, in early 2010 parent company Havas made a managerial change when it appointed Andrew Benett as Arnold Worldwide's new CEO. Benett was the former co-CEO at sister agency Euro RSCG in New York. He immediately helped the company bounce back from the recession by winning such large clients as Aetna, Alberto-Culver, and New Balance. Overall, the agency signed roughly 20 clients throughout 2010 and attributes a more aggressive strategy for pitching new clients and a more focused approach for winning domestic and global business for the turnaround.
In late 2010, Havas aligned Arnold Worldwide's London operations into its Euro RSCG KLP advertising network, creating Arnold KLP. Arnold Worldwide traces its roots back to 1946, when Arnold Rosoff founded Arnold & Co. in Boston. Havas acquired the company in 2000 and renamed it Arnold Worldwide.
