About Schenck SC

Wisconsin-based Schenck is one of the 50 largest CPA firms in the U.S. by revenues. Schenck provides a wide variety of services, from accounting and M&A advisory to business valuations and litigation support. Industry focus groups include trucking and logistics, hospitality and retail, government, nonprofit agencies, health care, manufacturing and distribution, dealerships, agriculture and food processing, and real estate and construction.

Schenck, formerly known as Schenck Business Solutions, began in 1930 as a sole proprietorship run by Willard Schenck. In 1964, Schenck agreed to form a partnership with fellow CPAs Vincent Derscheid, Quentin Kuenzli, and Dan Sturtevant. In 1972, the firm was renamed Schenck, Derscheid, Kuenzli, Sturtevant & Johnson. Schenck expanded during the next few decades, mostly through strategic mergers and acquisitions with fellow Wisconsin firms. In late 2007, Schenck bought Clifton Gunderson's Green Bay practice, and in 2009, the firm shortened its moniker from Schenck Business Solutions to the simpler Schenck. In 2015, the Manitowoc-based firm of Kroening, Stangel, Swetlik & Zinkel LLP merged into Schenck.

Today, Schenck is an independent member of The Leading Edge Alliance, a worldwide network of approximately 220 accounting and consulting firms in more than 100 countries. Schenck employs more than 600 people, including nearly 65 partners.
