Top accounting firm, quick promotion (in my group), learn A LOT, endless opportunities

Downers

work-life balance non-existent, horrible management and senior associates, pushing a "well being" initiative but does not follow through, unhealthy

Advice to Candidates

What can I say that hasn't already been said. It's a great place to get your start, but don't take the hours of "busy season" lightly. It is frowned upon if you leave the office at 10 pm during busy season.

Consider if it is worth your health and well being; PwC is the type of place that will test your limits.

Great place to start a career

July 2018 | FORMER EMPLOYEE

Uppers

- Work flexibility
- Firm's reputation
- Possibility to travel
- Generous vacations and possibilities of unpaid leaves
- Great professional development, especially at the early stage of a career
- Team works and the people are great.

Downers

- Low salary
- Hours are very long
- In the audit practice, work is not always interesting, and rarely fulfilling.

Advice to Candidates

Definitively a great place to start a career. You will learn about different industries, and more importantly, you will learn a rigorous method of working with skills that can be transferred to other fields. The audit practice is, however, extremely dry sometimes, and not much interesting.
