Audit Associate

3.0 of 5 stars

May 2017 | CURRENT EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Good reputation and exit opportunities in the accounting field. Strong portfolio in certain markets and great exposure to certain companies.

Downers

Undergoing a lot of change and cost-cutting. They seem to be not investing in their people as much as they should. Hours can be bad, people can be dull.

Comments

Know for sure if you want to get into accounting before joining the company. The company is a bunch of accountants running the place so be mindful of that as well.

Intern | Florham Park, NJ | 2017 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Culture, casual dress, bagel fridays, working on projects that get published for the world, having a mentor that is willing to help me grow my career with the firm

Comments

As an intern at the national office, I only worked 40 hours during the summer and worked 20 hours during the fall while still taking classes. We didn't have to work overtime.

Experienced in Risk Management | Dallas, TX | 2017 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

The technology is the very best of its class.

Downers

Lots of competition from within the firm's high performing staff.

Comments

The workload, quality of life and usiness outlook cannot be matched at other firms. The only hitch is that you have to be the best in your graduation class or prove that you performed some above and beyond functions at a previous employer for them to consider you. The PwC hiring bar is HIGH.
