Depending on your role, there is flexibility in location and the ability to work from home

Downers

Although PwC talks about work-life balance at the top, many partners and Directors don't seem to be willing to follow through, long hours (50 - 60 a week is expected); Limited advancement opportunities after age 40

Comments

February 2017 | FORMER EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Brand, clients, future opportunities, people, perks, benefits, leadership, culture, exit opportunities

Downers

Long long hours during the busy season, hard to move around at times.

Comments

Start applying at PwC years before you actually apply. That means keep your grades up, and your nose clean.

The Gold Standard of accounting

April 2016 | CURRENT EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Cutting edge technology, Gifted peers, unlimited resources, respect, power, and training opportunities for staff.

Downers

Long hours, cut throat revenue goals and deadlines. Lofty and high standards. I suggest you have passed the CPA first before applying here. One or two failed exams could be your pink slip out of door.

Comments

Be prepared to be challenged mentally. The work is mentally taxing. The hours are physically draining.

PwC is the most fun place to work yet it is challenging as you get pushed to explore and develop your potential. Best mix that one could hope for
