of 5 stars
Casual environment, not too much travel, stocked kitchen, lots of interns, overtime pay through senior level. This is a job in which you can specialize quickly and advance fairly quickly. Fully paid insurance. Flexible (if you ask). Depending on which team you are on, fine management.
You will be stuck in the same industry if you decide to switch jobs. Very cliquey office environment. Pretty harsh hours compared even to Big 4. Trainings are extremely boring. Lots of down time in the summer which means you are pressured to "find work" to bill. Lunches offered twice a week during busy season only. Lower salary than other similar sized firms. Not many interns continue to full-time, seemingly because it's not the right path for many.
Make sure that you are interested in government accounting or partnership accounting before you accept an internship here. Getting too far deep and deciding it's not for you could hurt your career (not much) further down the line.

Nice people, free lunch two times a week during busy season, get to try audit and tax, get to audit entire companies instead of only certain accounts like other larger firms, very flexible on hours.
Busy season hours (no more than any other accounting firm), in the past they seemed to like taking on a lot of interns and only extending offers to a few. Also, if you do work full time you get paid hourly which means that you have the normal pressures to eat time and then it directly affects the pay you take home.
Pretty good place for an internship, just don't expect an offer afterward even if you do good work and have good reviews.
