Rodge Speaks! ex-S&C chair on Squids, Goldman, E-mail, and T

by Vault Law Editors | April 27, 2010

Sullivan & Cromwell Suprime Superhero Rodge Cohen sits down for an interesting chat with Bloomberg TV.  Among other things, he cautions against judgements based on "Giant Squid Syndrome."

Other Highlights:

On the SEC case against Goldman:

I've gone through a number of investigations, and if the e-mails quoted are the most incriminating that exist, it would seem to me that there is a case yet to be made.

Advice to clients, generally:

Stay off e-mails whenever possible

On “Too Big To Fail”:

Artificial limitations are wrong, size does not equate to risk.
