A non-boring motion: World Series edition

Congratulations to Dallas attorney and Texas Rangers fanatic Darrell Cook, whose Emergency Motion for Continuance was granted this week, enabling him to fly to San Francisco to attend the first game of the World Series.

His motion is an instant (Fall) classic—read the whole thing here. Best line: “They acquired Bengie Molina for the equivalent of a thimble and a skate key.”   Runner up: ”Thereinafter the unthinkable occurred.”

Alas, however, condolences to Darrell.  Presumably his next move is to sue the Texas bullpen for malpractice.
