Candidates should have graduated from an accredited dental assisting program or its equivalent, certification as a dental assistant, and be certified to take radiographs and do coronal polishing in Nebraska. She/he underwrites large or more complex residential loans ensuring compliance with appropriate company and secondary market investor standards. Responsibilities also include examining loan documentation for accuracy and completeness and working with loan originator or production staff to secure all required documents. The Underwriter may provide training and direction to more junior staff and have authority to withdraw and decline loans.
