The best non-paid seven-day internship ever invented

It's an ultra-temporary job, vacation, and a shot at (relative) fame all in one convenient package.

Think your skills are transferrable? Then wrap your head around this: The Dutch government and amNewYork are sponsoring the Job Swap Wild Card Contest, in which one lucky son-of-a-gun from the tri-state area and a similarly fortunate Amsterdammer will be trading jobs for a week in September. The winner will be required to plan the U.S. work itinerary for his or her overseas counterpart, attend a media blogging training session and be available to promote the experience via daily blog and print, radio and/or TV. (See full details and rules HERE; the Henry Hudson 400 Foundation and BKB/Anker Solutions, in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, support the Job Swap project.)

For one anonymous worker, the planets are now aligning. As they say in the world of contracts, time is of the essence: Applications must be completed by Friday August 21. Good luck!
