NYC Job Fairs and Events -- Open air and alcohol

Published: Oct 05, 2009

As Friday's Pink Slipped roundup helpfully pointed out, last week was quite the crappy week for various reasons (all of them work-related, of course). But with a pleasant weekend in between, it seems like a speck in the rear-view mirror, and today the landscape ahead seems empty and open to possibility.

Here are this week's career-related events, with thanks to amNewYork for the details. Incidentally, all of them will be held in a bar of some sort. Coincidence? For our purposes, sounds like it's somehow related to this quote from George Bernard Shaw: "Alcohol is the anesthesia by which we endure the operation of life."
