In Case You Missed It: Week of November 9, 2009

It's been quite a week for pink slips in the tech industry, and that was reflected in the coverage we offered this week. First up, we had video from TechCrunch's exit interview with laid-off Microsoftie Don Dodge—a piece that's worth checking out to get an idea of which companies a top player in the field would consider working for.

Then, on Thursday, we tied up all the relevant news—be they layoffs or acquisitions--into one nice, neat bundle.

Sticking with the tech theme, Team Vault also sent a, uh, team to a Social Media Unleashed event on Tuesday and came back with a little something for everyone (in terms of advice).

All that came on top of our usual beat covering job opportunities, employment fairs and, of course, attempting to find the bright spots in the midst of this depressing train-wreck of an economy.
