Culinary "genius" draws in food workers who don't feel like

Published: Aug 06, 2009

In other non-traditional job search news, the UK-based Caterer.com has gotten some notice for its hospitality job boards by way of its short ads posted on YouTube. (Why bother with traditional advertising at all when we've got YouTube?) The comic spots feature a grade school-age Gordon Ramsay, the ridiculously louche London chef known as much for his Michelin stars as for his foul mouth on American and British telly. But here's the brilliant part: Traffic at Caterer.com increased 300% after the clips were released. For a (figurative) taste, feast your eyes on the clip below. (Beware: contains bleeped-out expletives, which should be easily recognizable if you're at all familiar with "Gordo.")
