Significant job cuts reportedly went down at Barclays’ equities division; a team of disgruntled German senior citizens (in what is not an Onion story) kidnapped, gagged and tortured a financial advisor due to deep losses to their pensions before the advisor was rescued by 40 locked and loaded cops; One-Dollar Pandit’s Citigroup is set to boost salaries of many employees to compensate for low bonuses; and, in some news that you can really use (especially if you’re still on the hunt for employment), here’s a map highlighting Manhattan and Brooklyn drinking establishments that offer free food to their customers (with the purchase of a beverage).
