Super Bowl Ads: Don't Expect Any Monkey Busine$$

Given the current state of the economy, the tones of this year's Super Bowl ads will certainly be affected, so you can bet you won't be watching anything like this classic spot from E*TRADE:

And this Reebok campaign unveiled on a Super Bowl Sunday several years ago leads me to believe that if more Terry Tates were patrolling wood-paneled boardrooms high in the sky, there wouldn't be half as many financial oversights or $1,500 trash cans bought with thousands of shareholders' dimes:
