If there's one thing scarier than receiving an unexpected knock on your door by an accountant, it's reading a Stephen King story about an accountant who's been been hiding some gruesome acts from everone in his life, including his pretty wife, for the last 28 years.

The story I'm talking about is "A Good Marriage," from King's most recent book, Full Dark, No Stars, which the Times reviewed last weekend in its Sunday Book Review.

If you dare, you read an excerpt of "A Good Marriage" and find out what's been leaking in Bob the accountant's garage. (Hint: it's thicker than a classified document.)
