Madoff Gets the Full Buck Fifty (150 Years)

The doors have been locked and the key thrown away: Bernie "The Ponz" Madoff just received a cool 150 years for perpetrating a $65 billion investor fraud scheme.

Handing down the maximum sentence (aka the news that Bernie will never be a free man again this lifetime), U.S. District Judge Denny Chin noted, "Not a single letter was submitted in support of Madoff ... Not friends, not family. That is telling."

Madoff's wife Ruth, who can't seem to catch a break from New York City landlords, is expected to make a statement later today.
