Last week I mentioned that ex-Morgan Stanley analyst Nina Goldiwalla had written a memoir about her 27 months on Wall Street, detailing the struggles of working in investment banking as a woman and a minority. Today, DealBook posted a Q&A with the author (and current CEO of MindWorks, "a consulting firm that advises corporations on relieving stress in the workplace").

And, in addition to giving her thoughts about what she'd do to better women's standing in the investment banking workplace if she were to become Morgan Stanley's CEO ("You have to educate people. People at the very top have to be taught to say, 'This kind of thing is not tolerated. We really mean it. And there's going to be a consequence if you go to strip clubs during your meetings, if you pull women off of deals.'") and her advice to young would-be bankers ("When you take this job, you give up stuff to the level that it makes you happy, and at some point, if it's not making you happy, you don't need to continue doing it."), Godiwalla said that tonight her book tour will be making a stop at Goldman Sachs world headquarters.

That's right, Godiwalla will be speaking about, and presumably reading from, Suits, down at 200 West Street.

The event (billed as a Godiwalla-led "collaborative discussion about the subtleties of being a woman and a minority in the workplace") is being sponsored by the Wharton Club of Boston and is invite-only -- that is, pre-registration was required, and is now closed. However, five Lincolns says it's not too difficult to crash the event. So, if you're interested, head on down to West Street at 6 p.m. to grab a seat (and, if you have an extra $25 to spare, a book as well).
